Description

From to 5:00-7:00 PM visitors and tribal members will gather in front of the Horseshoe Bend Visitor Center. Muscogee Nation speakers will include Principal Chief David Hill, representatives from the Muscogee (Creek) National Council, the Secretary of Veteran’s Affairs, the Secretary of Culture and Humanities and other tribal leaders. Traditional Mvskoke hymn singers will follow the speakers. Other guests include representatives from Muscogee ceremonial grounds, Mvskoke royalty, and other dignitaries.
 
Following the program visitors are invited to drive through the park and see luminaries placed on the battlefield representing each individual that lost their life during the battle.
 
This event is free and open to the public. Park grounds will close at 8:00pm.
