Description

For Ulysses S. Grant, the years between his resignation from the Army in 1854 and the beginning of the Civil War in 1861 were increasingly dark. In this performance, Dr. Curt Fields portrays Ulysses S. Grant's years as a St. Louis farmer at the White Haven estate in a riveting performance. Dr. Fields is a nationally renowned living history performer who portrays Ulysses S. Grant at historic sites around the country. 

 

This outdoor program is free and does not require a reservation. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Outside food and beverages are allowed on the park grounds. (Glass is prohibited.) Call 314-842-1867 to ask questions about this event.
