Description
Join Cape Lookout National Seashore and the Crystal Coast Stargazers for an afternoon of learning about eclipses - observing the Solar Eclipse. There will be a short program on eclipses presented by Lisa Pellatier-Harman, NASA Solar System Ambassador, followed by activities. Children will be able to decorate their own eclipse glasses, and earn a special eclipse Junior Ranger badge. At Harkers Island Visitor Center, the moon will cover 70% of the sun! This is a weather depenent event. Inclement weather or heavy cloud cover will cancel this event.
