For thousands of years people cultivated an intimate knowledge of, and reliance upon, the land that is mostly lost to us today.

We'll explore some indigenous and local uses of Chihuahuan Desert plants for food, medicine, tools and more while reflecting on humanity's recent transition from a local to global resource base.
