Description
Join a ranger for a stroll along the carriage roads and learn the history of John D. Rockefeller Jr., one of Acadia National Park's greatest patrons.
This is an easy one-mile (one-way) walk from Jordan Pond Dam Bridge to Cobblestone Bridge. The program concludes at Cobblestone Bridge, from which you can return to Jordan Pond via carriage road or the Jordan Stream Path.
This stretch of carriage roads has some gentle inclines and is mostly shaded. Close-toed shoes are recommended.
