Description
Join official park Friends group Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy for a guided paddle series in partnership with Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC)! Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or brand new to the river, this is your chance to experience the beauty of the Chattahoochee from a whole new perspective. Each trip highlights a different stretch of the river, from peaceful flatwater floats to gentle rapids—all led by expert NOC guides.
This is a lively stretch featuring near the northernmost stretch of the park (5 miles).
What's Included:
- Kayak or ducky (inflatable kayak), paddle, & life jacket
- Guided trip with NOC experts
- Safety instruction and river interpretation
Note: This paddle will proceed rain or shine. However, it will be canceled if river flows exceed 5,000 CFS, if E. coli levels are high, or in the event of lightning. Participants will be notified via phone in the event of cancellation.
This program is in partnership with Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) and all participants must complete NOC's waiver prior to program start. Please complete the waiver included in your registration confirmation email. Thank you!
