Description
Beginning August 29, 2020 Springfield Armory National Historic Site in coordination with Springfield Technical Community College park staff will offer limited public program programming.
Tours offered at 11:00am on Fridays only through the end of August, weather permitting.
Reservations are required in advance. Space is limted. Access to the grounds and the Springfield Tecnical Community College is restricted.Participants must follow the guidance of the Springfield Technical Community College re-opening plan and complete their attestation form before entering the grounds.
Following guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local public health authorities, Springfield Armory National Historic Site is increasing recreational access and services. The National Park Service (NPS) is working service wide with federal, state, and local public health authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and using a phased approach to increase access on a park-by-park basis.
