96 Candlelight Tour

Ninety Six National Historic Site

Experience history by candlelight. Tours of the one-mile interpretive trail will begin at 7:00 pm. Along the path, Living Historians will present scenes from historic Ninety Six. Tours will depart every 15 minutes with the last tour at 9:00 pm. Each one hour and fifteen-minute tour will be accompanied by a guide who will lead the way back in time with a period-style lantern.

The park visitor center will remain open during the tours until 9:00 p.m. for those who would like to watch the park’s 22-minute film, “Ninety Six: Crossroads of a Revolution,” browse the bookstore, and discover artifacts in the museum.

Visitors should wear comfortable outdoor clothing and walking shoes. The trail may be uneven in some areas and caution is recommended. Visitors are also encouraged to bring a flashlight and to carpool as parking will be limited.
