Description

How did America celebrate the Fourth of July  in the 1860s?  Join our park staff at the historic Dover Hotel as they re-create the patriotic traditions, games, and music of past holidays.    Join in the fun with 19th century games and activities on the lawn. This event will be led by long-time Park Volunteer Deborah Courtney and her family.

Junior Rangers may earn a badge for participating in the Scavenger Hunt at this activity site. Materials will be available at the site.

Consistent with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, the historic site is limited to a reduced capacity of persons at this time.  Our program will be held under the shade tree, just outside the building.  Bring your lawn chair, insect repellant, and water to enjoy the fun!
