Description

Join our Beatrix Farrand Garden Educator and Horticulturist for a day of insect identification in the garden. As part of National Pollinator Week we'll be observing and documenting our native pollinators in this socially distanced guided event. Participants can use the iNaturalist platform to upload images and make an important contribution to science, but smartphones are not required to participate. Garden lovers of all ages are encouraged to spend some time helping us identify our most important seasonal visitors: pollinators!

Please note, family/friend groups will be assigned to socially distanced locations around our garden, and there will be a maximum of 30 people in the garden at one time. Please feel free to visit with us anytime in the 11:30am-1:30pm time window. We appreciate you wearing your mask when unable to distance 6ft from anyone not in your party.

Participants are encouraged to download the iNaturalist App to your smart device before attending the event, if possible.

Please RSVP to help us prepare for your group!
