On Sunday, August 25, 2019, Weir Farm National Historic Site, Friends of Weir Farm, the Weir Farm Art Center, and G&B Cultural Center will host the park's third annual Art in the Park Festival. Artists are encouraged to bring their supplies, and the park will provide supplies for those who don't have their own. All visitors will have the opportunity to create works of art and enter the contest. Following the festival, all entries are eligible to be part of an exhibit at G&B Cultural Center for the month of September, with a reception to follow on October 3. The park welcomes artists, neighbors, national park lovers, and visitors of all ages and experience levels to create Art in the Park during this free day-long event.
