Description
The nineteenth century brought about changes in literacy, especially in the latter part of the century due to increases in schooling for children. Literacy was important during the nineteenth century just as it is today. Many of the books have become classics, some left behind for us to find again. Join a ranger at historic Mont Sec House to peruse children’s books from the past and present and discuss the merits of each. For information and reservations call 718-354-4500.
