Come join park biologists and volunteer stewards for a Stewardship Saturday at Grape Island! Volunteers will have an opportunity to focus on two activities throughout the day. Volunteers can chose to participate in both opportunities throughout the day.

  • Help us control non-native invasive plants and enhance native ecosystems
  • Explore and document local flora and fauna of the park using the app iNaturalist

This event falls within the documentation period for the nationwide City Nature Challenge. If you are interested in participating in documentation biodiversity in addition to helping in field work, please come prepared with a camera or iNaturalist downloaded onto your mobile device! Some tips and training can be provided.

Registration is required for these events.
