Description

Join nature photographer Mark Chantell as he discusses how to engage in nature photography, with an emphasis on closeup imaging, in winter weather conditions at the Indiana Dunes.  He will be covering practical considerations, including what camera gear to use, macro photography tips, and proper outdoor dress and safety.  He will also attempt to convey why in the world someone would want to go out hiking and photographing in sub-zero conditions with ice… and snow… and high winds...  as opposed to staying inside where it is warm and dry.

Passes are required. For more information, visit the Fees & Passes page.
