Description
Clara Barton National Historic Site is commemorating Women’s History Month with a special program. This event will highlight Clara Barton’s role involving the importance of first aid training in the U.S. and offer Junior Girl Scouts the opportunity to learn about the history of first aid, how to respond in emergency situations, create a personal first aid kit to take home, and more! Through our series of activities and discussions, scouts can complete the requirements to earn their “Junior First Aid” badge. Junior Girl Scouts may attend the open house event with their troop or with family members and friends.
