Come to Fort Hunt to commemorate the end of 2025’s longest day! Learn about the astronomical phenomenon that has inspired humanity since prehistory.

 

Join park rangers at Fort Hunt Park on March 14, June 20, August 16 and December 14 for ranger talks, constellation tours and telescope viewing! Bring a camp chair or blanket and a red flashlight if you have one. A telescope will be provided to share. Each event may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Call (202) 439-7325 with questions.
