Join Jason Vican and Christopher Wilkenson of the National Historical Trails Interpretive Center in Casper, Wyoming at the Homestead National Monument of America Education Center at 3 p.m. for a program on the history of Empire, Wyoming. 

Empire was an African American homesteading community founded in Wyoming in 1908 just over the state line from Nebraska.  This presentation pairs with the exhibit "Empire, Wyoming: African American Homesteading Community" exhibit on display at the Homestead National Monument of America Education Center January-March 2019.
