Description
Pamela Lasiloo - Zuni Silversmith
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday — December 10, 11, 12, 2024: 9 am to 4 pm each day.
- Pamela Lasiloo will be demonstrating her skill as a channel inlay silversmith. Inspired by the vibrant colors of nature, Pamela meticulously arranges small, hand-cut stones like turquoise, coral, and lapis lazuli into intricate patterns set in sterling silver channels. Her signature creations are celebrated for their exquisite detail and petite elegance.
- The Cultural Demonstration program provides an opportunity for park visitors and community members to interact with tribal artisans from Grand Canyon's traditionally associated tribes - and for them to share their history and crafts, along with the skills, knowledge, and efforts involved in creating their craft and art.
- This series is made possible with grants from Grand Canyon Conservancy.
