Description
Take the 9:25 ferry from Sayville to the F.I. Pines and meet up with a ranger at the ferry dock flagpole for a walk from the Fire Island Pines to Fire Island National Seashore, exploring the rich and varied natural and cultural landscape. You may return to the Pines on foot/by water taxi, or take the ferry from Sailors Haven back to Sayville.
Dress for the weather, bring water, snacks, and be prepared for an approximately 2 mile hike.
