Night Walk
The year is 1874, Ulysses S. Grant is president and during the summer he had White Haven painted. It is now a new and fashionable color, Paris Green. Julia Grant will comment on the changes as well as the wedding that took place earlier in the year at the White House. St. Louis residents, past and present, will share stories about their connections with Grant. The President himself will make a special appearance.
A park guide or volunteer will escort small groups of guests to each character’s presentation. All presentations are outdoors. Reservations are limited to 75 people and will open on Monday, July 22 at 9 am. Please call 314-84-1867 ext. 230.
