Description

Join Dr. Robert Forrant for a Lowell Walks: "Labor History" on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 10 am.  Throughout history and into the present, many different communities have found work in Lowell. We are excited to share some of these stories both through this program and in our new exhibit "One City, Many Cultures" opening at the Mogan Cultural Center within Lowell National Historical Park this fall.

Participants can plan to meet at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center, 246 Market Street, Lowell.  Free parking is available at the HCID garage, with validation at the Visitor Center.

Lowell Walks is a series of guided walking tours of Lowell. The series seeks to support community voices as they share their historical knowledge, experiences, and unique perspectives on a diverse range of topics that shape the city of Lowell's past, present, and future. Tours average 90 minutes in length, are free, and include a moderate amount of walking. No reservations are necessary, and tours are conducted rain or shine.
