Description
In anticipation of the Beatrix Farrand Wild Garden project the BFGA are showing a FREE screening of their documentary "Beatrix Farrand's American Landscapes" on Saturday, March 11th at 2pm at the Henry Wallace Visitor Center auditorium at the Home of FDR National Historic Site, Hyde Park. The horticulture team leading the Wild Garden project will be there to discuss the exciting plans before the screening
This project is the most significant improvement in over 25 years to our restored site, the oldest surviving residential design of Beatrix Farrand from 1912. Her original drawings of Bellefield indicated her call for a "wild garden", and we are in the beginning stages of fulfilling her brilliant intentions.
Join us on the 11th for a discussion with our BFGA staff Horticulturist Karen Waltuch, National Park Service Horticulturist Anna deCordova, and owner of Organic Matters and landscape gardener Heather Whitefield. Following will be a free screening of our feature documentary "Beatrix Farrand's American Landscapes."
All are welcome and we request that you RSVP at this link. Thank you so much for being a supportive member of our garden community, and we look forward to future collaborations!
