KWANZAA 2025
Kwanzaa is an annual, non-religious cultural holiday celebrated from December 26 to January 1 by African Americans and Pan-Africans. Established in 1966 by Maulana Karenga, it's a seven-day celebration of Black culture, history, and community, drawing on African harvest festival traditions to promote unity and self-determination and to connect people of African descent with their heritage. The name originates from the Swahili phrase matunda ya kwanza, meaning "first fruits"
