Description
Come join us for a 45-minute long Ranger led interview with Henry and Maryetta Jackson. Learn about their lived experiences and connection to Grand Canyon through demonstrating at the park starting 50 years ago!
Henry is a self-taught silversmith and goldsmith who works with local and exotic stones.
Maryetta also began as a silversmith but later transitioned to beading as a form of therapy that helped her to relax. Her designs incorporate aspects of Navajo culture in the form of wedding baskets, sacred mountains, and the stars.
