- This program will share the historical significance of the Niagara Movement within the context of the 20th century civil rights movement. Ray Smock is the Director Emeritus for the Robert C. Byrd Center for Congressional History and Education, former Historian for the US House of Representatives, and the author of Booker T. Washington: Black Leadership in the Age of Jim Crow.
