This history and biography reading group is dedicated to the memory of Harry S Truman, who enjoyed reading these types of books above all else.
The book for April, 2022, and May, 2022, is David Blight's Frederick Douglass, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and other awards.
For the April, 2022, meeting, we will discuss chapters 1-15.
For the May, 2022, meeting, we will discuss the remainder of the book.
Copies of the book are available through the Mid Continent Public Library syste, and are available in cloth and paper, e-version, and audiobook (on CD and audiobook on Overdrive/ Libby). A librarian will be happy to help you find a copy.
