The indoor program begins at 9:30 and is followed by outdoor telescope viewing. Visitors may attend one or both.
Description
The Ranger’s Guide to the Galaxy celebrates the night sky. A 45-minute indoor slideshow begins at 9:30 pm at the Community House in Rim Village, followed by telescope viewing outdoors, weather permitting, at 10:30 pm.
Limited indoor seating. Red lights, if you have them, are recommended to conserve everyone's dark adapted eyes. Dress warm, many nights are in the mid-40s F. Personal telescopes and binoculars are welcome.
