On Saturday, August  13, the Friends of the DWGNRA will be holding a Friends Family Fun Day at PEEC outside by the yurts! Although the food truck had to be cancelled, there will be snacks (including energy bars) and drinks for sale, games with prizes for the kids (no matter the age), hiking (guided or not), and the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation Center will give a presentation with rescued animals at 1:00 PM! Even more activities are still in the making!

There will not be grills, so no hot food is available on-site, but you are welcome to bring your own lunch on your way. 

Anyone can attend for the requested donation of $5 per car load, but members of the Friends are free! Please do let us know that you will be attending. 

The event will be held at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) from 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 30th to 3:00 PM. A guided hike is planned for 11:30 and the Wildlife presentation is at 1:00 PM.
