Experience Yellowstone's winter story while on snowshoes. Join a park ranger on a 2-hour snowshoe hike through the lodgepole pine forest in the park. Interpretive stops and discussion are the focus of this excursion, focusing on the geology, wildlife and human history which makes Yellowstone unique. Please bring water and a snack. Be prepared for winter weather by dressing in layers. You must provide your own snowshoes. Meet the ranger at the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center, corner of Yellowstone Avenue and Canyon Street in West Yellowstone, Montana.
