Long before pumpkins took over as a symbol of Halloween, turnips were used to make Jack o’ lanterns! Learn more about how this tradition and others helped shape today’s Halloween and hear ghost stories from around the world including the Irish tale of Stingy Jack, the Mexican ghost story of La Llorona, and the spooky Bell Witch from Tennessee. Keep the spirits away by creating your own turnip or pumpkin to take home with you!
