Description
Join us for the return of the Annual Indigenous Art and Culture Festival, Saturday July 5th and Sunday July 6th at the Visitor and Research Center!
Artists from the 27 associated tribes, Pueblos, and nations of Mesa Verde National Park will be displaying and selling examples of their art such as jewelry, pottery and weaving.
Cultural demonstrations throughout the day will also be available to educate visitors on traditional art and lifeways of the people who have called Mesa Verde an ancestral home for centuries.
Throughtout the festival, there will also be traditional dances from the Hopi village of Shungopavi by the Lomayestewa family, who have been returning to Mesa Verde for decades.
We look forward to seeing you!
