Description

The Tombigbee Pioneer Group will demonstrate pioneer era crafts and skills at the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor at milepost 266 just north of Tupelo, MS from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The demonstrations will show the challenges faced and creative solutions developed by those American who lived in the area from 1700s to around 1840.

You are invited to participate in pioneer lifestyle activities that include crafting baskets, spinning, weaving, making corn husk dolls, leather working and other traditional craft demonstrations.
