Nēnē Awareness Day Pop-Up

Join us for a pop-up event on the Headquarters Visitor Center front lawn (mile marker 11.5) to celebrate  Hawaiʻi’s state bird, the nēnē! Come and learn how our biologists monitor, protect, and care for our feathery friends. Learn the cultural significance and importance of our nēnē through games, crafts, and informational tables.
