Peace on Earth: The Christmas Truce of 1914

Five months after the start of World I, combatants from all sides came together in an informal ceasefire to celebrate peace on Earth. This Christmas Truce of 1914 was evidence that humans could find meaning as individuals, and celebrate life in the midst of death, in spite of the hate of nations and governments. Join us to celebrate this amazing story of Christmas magic at the World War I Memorial.
