World Migratory Bird Celebration

Interested in celebrating some of Blackstone River Valley’s traveling feathered-friends? Join us Sunday July 6th, 2025 for a FREE day of birding, fishing, interactive games, and arts and crafts in celebration of World Migratory Bird Day. Park staff will lead 2, hour-long bird walks (at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM), drop-in birding activities, bird related games and crafts, and fishing poles will be availabe. Binoculars, telescopes, fishing poles, and bait are available for visitors to borrow. It'll be the perfect day for some family fun!



Free parking is available at this site.

Registration is not required and the program is FREE and open to all ages/skill levels.

A portable toilet is available at this site.

Schedule of Activities:

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Bird Walk (walk will begin at the Kelly House Museum sign)

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Drop-in activities, crafts, and birding materials (available in the Kelly House Barn)

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Bird Walk (walk will begin at the Kelly House Museum sign)

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Drop-in fishing (available in the Kelly House Barn)
