Description

Did you know that the remnants of the Burma Road, which once ran the length of Fire Island’s interior, can still be traced through the Wilderness? Join a ranger and explore this little-known
trail as it winds its way to Old Inlet.

Dress for the weather and for walking on sand and through beach grass on this 3-mile round trip. Bring drinking water and a snack.
