July 4th Independence Day Events
Presidential Re-enactors: Professional actors will portray the four presidents depicted on Mount Rushmore throughout the day. Below are a list of scheduled apperances. They will also be found throughout the site in between their presentations.

- 12:30 - 1:15pm - Theodore Roosevelt
- 2:00 - 2:45pm - George Washington
- 3:30 - 4:15pm - Thomas Jefferson
Indigenous Culture Bearers: Join Indigenous artists, dancers, historians, and musicians as they share their craft and culture. Below are a list of scheduled appearances. They will also be found at the Heritage Village in between their performances and presentations.

Evening Program: Join musicians and rangers as the park celebrates Independence Day with an illumination of the sculpture and veteran's recognition.
- 6:45pm - Hoop dance by Jasmine Bell
- 7:10pm - Patriotic music by Miss South Dakota Joelle Simpson and Heartland of America band
- 9:00pm - Evening Light Ceremony
