Description

Join us for a birding walk along Lowell’s waterways.  This free Ranger-lead program begins at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center (246 Market Street).  The walk will take place over the course of approximately two hours and 1.5 miles of terrain. Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring plenty of water and anything else you may need to safely enjoy your walk.

Both first-time birders and more experienced folks are welcome.  Together we will learn some of the basics of birding as we discover and identify the birds around us.  We will have some binoculars and field guides available to borrow during the walk but please feel free to bring your own if you have them!

Parking

Lowell National Historical Park visitors may park at the Hamilton Canal Innovation District (HCID) parking garage at 350 Dutton Street. Parking in this garage is available to National Park visitors at no cost provided they obtain a valid parking voucher at the Visitor Center (246 Market Street).
