Description
The Antelope Creek Village Tour will be held Saturdays in the month of October.
Participants will view the village of the Antelope Creek People who lived in the Texas Panhandle from 1100 AD to 1450 AD. You must drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle to the site where the hike will begin. The road is very uneven and could be some washed out areas because of the rains.
Wear hiking attire, bring water, and be prepared to walk approximately 2 miles. The weather will be unpredictable at that time, so dress accordingly. Please wear long pants, long sleeved shirt, hiking boots, and hat. The tour will be ranger-led and last approximately 2 hours.
