Living History Weekend

Every Labor Day weekend, Fort Union opens its gates to the Fort Union Muzzleloaders and fur trade living historians who step back in time to live and work at the site, giving visitors a glimpse of historic Fort Union. Visitors will experience black powder shooting demonstrations, watch tradespeople work in the blacksmith and carpenter shops and see a variety of other historic demonstrations throughout the weekend.
