National parks have been called America’s Best Idea, preserving our nation’s most compelling natural and cultural sites and the rich stories they represent.
This year’s winter film festival, offered with COVID-19 safety in mind, features the Ken Burns series about the National Park System. Explore cornerstone events and some of our country’s most visually stunning and historic locales--from Acadia to Yosemite, Yellowstone to the Grand Canyon, and the Everglades of Florida, to the Gates of the Arctic in Alaska. Come watch and begin planning your next adventure!

On Sunday, February 20, the winter film festival will showcase "Great Nature" (1933–1945) which emphasizes the societal impacts of the park concept, including new environmental and naturalistic perspectives, employment opportunities, and expansion of the park idea to additional U.S. locations.
The winter film festival takes place every Sunday between January 23 and February 27 at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham from 1:30-3:30 pm. Reservations are required and may be made up to one week in advance by calling Salt Pond Visitor Center at 508-255-3421, ext. 0.
