Description
On Wednesday, February 16, at 12:00 pm, Ranger Tom Parson will present a lunch and history lesson in commemoration of the 160th anniversary of the establishment of the Contraband Camp and the Siege and Battle of Corinth. Bring your own “brown bag” lunch, as Tom discusses the founding of this model camp as well as the little-known military history, Union and Confederate, of this historic property. Chairs and a tent will be provided by Visit Corinth.
The program will take place at the Corinth Contraband Camp and last about 45 minutes. The Contraband Camp is located at 850 North Parkway Street in Corinth. No prior registration is required.
