Description
Join us for a scenic 3.2 mile hike along the Long Point Trail! This trail features some of the best panoramic views of the gorge and the New River Gorge Bridge. This moderate trail winds through the forest until meeting a steep section just before the outlook. Come hike with us!
Meet at Long Point Trailhead
Directions: Coming from Summersville take route 19 and turn left onto Court St. into Fayetteville. Turn left onto Gatewood Rd/Route 9. Follow Gatewood Rd. Follow Gatewood Rd past Arrowhead Bike Farm and turn left onto County Rte. 9/8 (Newton Rd.) Long point trailhead and parking will be on your left. Coming from Beckley on route 19 turn right onto Court St. into Fayetteville. Turn left onto Gatewood Rd/Route 9. Follow Gatewood Rd. Follow Gatewood Rd past Arrowhead Bike Farm and turn left onto County Rte. 9/8 (Newton Rd.) Long point trailhead and parking will be on your left.
