Lenape/Delaware Heritage Days

Join the Delaware Tribe of Indians, a federally-recognized tribe based in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, for a weekend of exploring the history and traditional practices of the Lenape. Welcome them as they perform music, social dances, and teach ceremonial practices of the tribe. The Delaware Tribe of Indians are the modern-day descendants of the Lenape, the original Indigenous people of the Passaic Rive Valley.

 

When: This is a two day event. Saturday July 31st at 10:00AM and 2:00PM. Sunday August 1st at 12:00PM.

 

Where: Overlook Park, 72 McBride Avenue Extension, Paterson, NJ, 07501.
