Description
Celebrate National Park Week and Junior Ranger Day at the Horse Stables and Education Center on the National Mall. Participate in the National Mall Jr. Ranger Explorer program and earn a Jr. Ranger badge. During your visit, learn about the horses and the history of the Mounted Patrol on the Mall, and don’t forget to collect your horse stable stamp!
Jr. Ranger hands-on activities include:
-Meet/greet with the Mounted Patrol and horses (depends on availability and call of duty)
-Pet a horse and take a selfie
-Color the park logo
-Make a ranger hat
-Sign the Jr. Ranger Graffiti Wall
-Be a National Mall Jr. Ranger Explorer
