Description
Tours, talks, and living history events at Winchester's historic Fort Loudoun. A young George Washington built the fort in the 1750s for the Virginia Regiment and used it as his base of operations while stationed in the Shenandoah Valley.
This free open house is part of the Virginia 250 and America 250 commemoration. This is a partner event not associated with the National Park Service.
