Description
Shiloh presents vintage base ball on the battlefield! On Sunday, July 20, Shiloh will host a double header presented by the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball.
At 12:00 p.m. the Nashville Maroons will square off against the Franklin Farriers. At 2:00 p.m. the Farriers will again take the field versus the Phoenix of East Nashville. The teams will play in period uniforms using the rules and regulations adopted in 1863, during the Civil War. The Civil War is credited with helping spread America's past-time all over the country.
The games are free, so bring your lawn chairs and picnic baskets and enjoy some competative baseball the way the soldiers palyed it 160 years ago.
