Description
Celebrate Halloween at the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation Shipyard with a maritime twist on spooky fun for all ages at our 5th annual Halloween Ghost Ship. Bring the whole family in costume and enjoy Kalmar Nyckel, Tall Ship of Delaware deck tours, pumpkin painting, and much more.
2022 activities included:
- Wear your favorite costume to explore our fourth annual family friendly maritime-themed Halloween event thanks to Kenny Family ShopRite stores, the Kenny Family Foundation, Diver Chevrolet and Wilmington City Council.
- Halloween Ghost Ship Tours inside our Copeland Maritime Center with spooky fun for all ages on our indoor ship and exhibits.
- Kalmar Nyckel tours of the 141-foot long Tall Ship of Delaware with our volunteer crew.
- Halloween-themed crafts, outdoor pumpkin painting, and a costume parade.
- Face painting
- Food Truck, water, and snacks available for purchase.
