Description
Come out to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks on National Public Lands Day - the largest single day volunteer effort for America's public lands. Park staff will be leading volunteers in a variety of projects at Dorst Creek Campground to help us get ready for winter! Some of the projects include picnic table relocation, litter removal, and cleaning out bear boxes to prep the campground for winter closing. All participants will receive a fee-free day coupon to be used another day at a National Park. Please RSVP to e-mail us or call 559-565-4287. Sign in and registration starts at 9:30 and projects begin at 10:00am till 3:00pm.
