Special Exhibit: Louisiana Birds by Gary Meyers

Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve

Special Event
  • Every week on Saturday at 8:30 AM from April 15, 2019 to May 31, 2019
  • Free

In celebration of World Migratory Bird Day on May 11, this exhibit of Meyers' photography showcases Louisiana's birds: roseate spoonbills, egrets, kingfishers, herons, anhingas, and bald eagles. Although many of these species are familiar sights along Louisiana's waterways, Meyers' photographs provide a stunning up close look.
